“I didn’t do any of that!” The doctor yelled back. “I was framed. Someone framed me!”

“I’ll advise you to sit down,” the detective said with a bored expression on his face. “That’s not why we’re here. We’re here to discuss your involvement in Mrs Roman’s case.”

“That has nothing to do with me,” the doctor argued, sitting back down. “I already told you. She came in with her husband and asked for birth control pills which I gave them. Why would he sue me now for something I have no idea about.”

“Oh Jonah Roman isn’t the one suing you,” the detective assured him. “It’s Mr Xavier Roman.”

A look of confused terror clouded the doctor’s face.

“The richest man in…” he began. “What’s his business with…”

“Oh he’s married to Mrs Charlotte now. You didn’t know?” The detective said, enjoying the terrified look that marred the doctor’s face. “I’ll advise you just confess to all you know because we already have all the evidence. Mr Xavier’s private detectives were able to find out everything y
