Wedding Day

Waking up, I get straight to work, writing out reports of what happened, everyone in the team doing the same, the day spent writing every detail of that day.

“Right, Maxwell, you will be dropped at the base. The commander there will watch over you. Guys, by the time we land, we will get to the church with 20 minutes spare, so move it.” Everyone gets up, the journey back, everyone is quiet, knowing now the mission will be a lot longer when we come back. Jackson is lucky I got this time off because they wanted us to stay and sort out the mess Maxwell caused.

However, even they are not heartless and make him miss his own wedding. His face is a mess, but he will live and make it, hopefully. On the flight back, we stay quiet, not really sure what to say. Everything has become a mess.
