Ibukun had barely walked out of the church building when she saw some of the teens clustering and whispering while they scrolled through their phones.

“She’s dead already?”

“Yes”

“He still sang for her yesterday”

“She had cancer”

“I so much pity him”

Ibukun froze in her steps as she walked towards them with light steps. She coughed lightly to catch their attention and which she pulled off successfully.

“Sorry but what are you guys talking about?” Ibukun asked slowly.

“Who died?” she asked again.

“Ohh, I don’t know if you heard that Lashe held a live performance yesterday that he sang for his grandmother. Well, she died early this morning” one of the boys said as he passed over his phone to Ibukun who shaking collected it.
