I was stunned by his actions since he entered the cabin.

I never thought a man as strong and as powerful and arrogant as him, could have passed through something like this.

I didn't even think he would sit on the floor like a desperate child.

Now I could see that it had been a facade he plastered on his face to show the world that he was strong and hard as a stone but in reality, he was in pain.

Who would have thought of that?

Who would have thought that a man like Alpha Ansel who was rumoured to be cruel, heartless and cold could be going through such a thing?

While in reality, the man was hiding excruciating pain and hurt.

Looking at him, I could see that he had uncovered his facade and all I could see there was hurt and pain.

I never thought he was capable of having such emotions.

I turned to him still not believing what he had just told me.

But I could see he wasn't lying or faking.

He was telling the truth and it seemed the pain of it all had been too much and that was
