Love of a Sibling

CHARLES' POV

"I'm worried about my sister" I mouthed as I look at my love.

"why?" she asked even though I know that she already know the reason.

"she's not coming home" I answered as I continue making coffee.

Amelia has not been coming home since she went to the palace. I'm very worried.

I wonder what happened.

I can't help but to overthink about it. What if she became a servant there? Is she eating well? are they hurting her? does she even like to go home?

Millions of questions keep on coming to my mind and I can't help but to be worried for her.

"do you want to pay a visit?" Lorna asked.

I looked at her and sighed.

There's no way we can visit the palace. The guards won't let us and I don't have any other way to contact her. I'm very worried.

Right at that moment, I heard the door opened.

"sorry, we're close!" I shouted.

But after saying that, I didn't heard any reply nor heard the door closed.

"who is it?" Lorna asked. We're at the kitchen so we probably cannot see.
