Chapter Thirteen

Sophia came to the house the next day as soon as Claudia had informed her about Alexander's return home. She was with him in his room's balcony ranting about a lot of things that he did not pay any attention to. He just busied himself with his phone.

After her ranting about how the past days were for her, she focused on Alexander with a smile on her face, "You haven't told me about the new business adventure you had gone on that kept you away from sight for days" she asked.

Alexander raised his head from his phone to her, "You didn't give me the chance to talk, did you?" he sounded sarcastic but Sophia ignore his tone.

"Well I'm asking now. Tell me" she said with keen interest.

"It's a personal matter" Alexander replied.

"You can still share it with me" Sophia pressed, "We are going to be married so you're personal matters are equally my personal matters too" she added with her smile still lingering.
