IT’S ALREADY dark outside the glass window. And the only thing that could be hear in the CEO’s office were papers and keyboards. Nakikiramdam ako sa paligid, umaasa na may pumuna.

Working passed the working hours was a torture for me. Hindi ko naman magawang magreklamo dahil si Fred ang may gusto. At isa pa, sinusunod ko ang mga gusto niya dahil na rin siya ang humaharap sa mga pasaring at iskema na pakulo ni Milady laban sa akin.

Hangga’t maari, ayaw kong makaharap ang madrasta. I’ve had enough of my childhood days. And working in the same company was tiring enough. Pasalamat na lang ako at hindi kami madalas magkita. At kung kailangan ay si Paul ang pinapaharap ko sa kanya.

And the recent scheme she failed was the personal cheques she issued under my name without my knowledge. Isang malaking pagkakamali para sa isang papaalis na CEO.

If this is what it takes to sit in this office, I’d rather give it up.
