“Tempe,” Alpha Jasper Justice smiles at her. He is 25 and has always supported her becoming Alpha.

“Jasper,” Temperance shakes his hand. “How are Mora and the pups?”

“Well and sending their love,” Jasper presents her with drawings from his young children and a gift bag. “Mora said you loved her cookies.”

“Oh, I do,” Temperance smiles.

“I heard Sebastian is your mate, how is that going?” Jasper asks with a smirk.

Temperance smiles back at him and nods her head. They both laugh. Jasper’s Beta Lance joins them.

“What’s the joke?” Lance asks.

“Seb Timberman and Tempe Biczi as mates,” Jasper laughs.

“Heard my name,” Sebastian joins them, standing next to Tempe, but not touching her.

Both Jasper and Lance look between them before they both narrow their eyes.

Temperance closes her eyes and breathes deep, “We are still working through things. We are early mates, not the full-on gross ones yet.”

“Oh, yeah, totally,” Lance nods, still eyeing Sebastian with a furrowed brow.
