Chapter 14 – Exes should be axed

(Kaleah POV)

The date had been a slight success, one Clayton did not kill me, which is something I had thought he would after the story Cyan told me where he killed his parent’s killer.

“How was the date?”

As soon as I enter the house, I am greeted by Conan’s prying face and Cyan’s enthusiastic face. I had known Conan for a little while now and though he had grown on me, his mischievous nature tends to be too much sometimes.

“You set me up like that and you expect a good outcome?”

I immediately pouted at them, it would have been nice if they warned me about the identity of my date, but no I had to find out by meeting the devil himself, without prior preparations.
