"So you called now because you thought I was pregnant?!" I exclaimed on the phone after hearing Alex's reason for calling. "Are you out of your mind? How could you expect me to be pregnant?"

"It's been a month, Siena. After what happened to us, and I made sure of that. I think I'm not infertile, am I?"

I burst out laughing and yelled, "How can I get pregnant if we both have vulva?!"

She was silent on the other line, feigning to realize the truth and time over like me, she also burst out laughing and said, "Why did you remind me? What kind of ex are you slapping me with the fact that I don't have a dick? Can't you let me dream for a moment that I can create a child in your womb?"

I was holding my belly to ease my laughter and manage to calm down for the serious question, "And why did you call?"

Again, she was silent on the other line and I heard her sigh. "Of course, I missed you." I scoffed and rolled my eyes. I was currently leaning against the head board of my bed and facing a
