Since Cassie’s gaze was on her, Amy started to feel self-conscious.

She wondered if she had somehow come between them.

Suppressing her thoughts, she nodded at Cassie before walking away with Aiden.

As they departed, Cassie stood frozen. Her heart was in turmoil, and her blood ran cold.

She had known Aiden for a long time, but she had never seen him with a woman before. Although their interaction was brief, she could see that his demeanor toward Amy was different from his demeanor toward her. As such, confusion and doubt filled her heart.

Clenching her fists, Cassie’s face turned pale as she wondered about the nature of their relationship.

At this moment, Nolan exited the office, and Cassie quickly called out to him, “Nolan.”

Nolan nodded in acknowledgment. “Miss Jackson, what can I do for you?”

With her mind in disarray, Cassie directly asked, “The lady with Mr. Lewis earlier, is she a client of the company?”

Nolan shook his head. “No, she’s not.”
