Chapter 15 Everyone Has a Load On Mind

In the end, they chose to drive Fang Qiang's car.

Li Mu couldn't identify the reasons, but indeed he began to dislike the red Toyota.

He Xiaoyu triumphantly got in the front passenger seat first and looked happy.

Lin Wan bit her lip and sat silently in the back seat. She turned her face and looked out of the car window, looking preoccupied.

If Lin Kun were really her relative, why did she hide the truth from him? Was her relative too stigmatized to be presented to others?

After the car ignited, He Xiaoyu said to Li Mu, "Go to the airport first. My luggage is still there. After picking up my luggage, then you drive me home."

"What? You don't even carry your luggage?"

At the entrance of the villa area, she got out of the car. And Li Mu helped her take the luggage out and intended to help her with her luggage to her doorstep.

He Xiaoyu took the suitcase back and thanked him for his kind offer.

"You don't need to walk me home. It's very near from here." said she while she turned her head towards the back seat of the car, "You hurry home to save someone from criticizing me for being intentional."

Li Mu smiled and didn't insist and turned around to get into the car to leave.

He Xiaoyu shouted to Lin Wan who sat at the back seat of the car, "Hey, Lin Wan, I advise you to tell the truth. He won't buy your story. Just tell the truth. It will be a relief for all of us!"

"None of your business!" Lin Wan's voice came from the back seat of the car with an unfriendly tone.

He Xiaoyu grunted, pulled her suitcase, and left.

Li Mu watched He Xiaoyu swipe her card to enter the villa area. And then he ignited the vehicle and turned it around to drive home.

On the way back, the two didn't speak a word to each other. The silence was broken until Fang Qiang's call came in.

Li Mu got through the call, through which coming the voice of Fang Qiang with a concerned tone, "Li Mu, where are you now? Are you ok? Did anything happen?"

"I'm ok. Everything's fine. I'll return your car tomorrow!"

"There's no rush. Keep it if you still need it. How about Lin Wan? Did you get the evidence?"

"She is in the car right now. Talk to you later!"

"Ah? Well then. We'll talk later. Remember. Don't do anything impulsive."

"I got it. Bye!"
