Chapter 14

"I'm happy and proud to represent you all, the 125TH player of MLA. " Said the Admiral and at once instructed us. Mr Steler smiled at us while Mrs Moon looked unhappy, with no emotion on her face. I tried to read his mind but I got no answer as to where his son Zero was. We are now in the Steler's Building where this is the first time we entered here, now I know why students are not allowed here because there are so many expensive things here and it's really very nice inside. You will think you are in one of the VIP hotels when you are here. In the large Dining room of the building we eat. They are with Mrs and Mr Steler as well as Fly. She is so beautiful and you will think she is a goddess because she is so white. She also has a steady smile, something that adds to her beauty.

"Which of them was drawn to RFE?" Mrs. Steler asked, we raised Cloud's hand. I was even more nervous when Mrs. Steler and I got our eyesight right.

"How was the first time you stepped on Moonlight?" He asked us.

"Good--"

"Hell." What I was going to say was cut short when Red replied, now Mrs. Steler's attention is on Red.

"Am I talking to you?" Mrs. Steler asked.

"No, I'm answering, isn't it obvious?" Red asked, I swallowed because her dragonhood was attacking again.

"Looks like you want to say something Ms. , what's that?" Mr. Steler asked. Red looked at me before looking at Cloud and speaking.

"The first time they set foot here, they were shown the garbage behavior of some students here. This woman was a victim of bullying. While she was in the Garden, five students were asked to help her, which is why I rushed those five. and I was imprisoned in Moon Jail. " Red said boldly.

"What do you want us to do then?" Mrs. Steler asked.

"Give the battered woman in front of you the right treatment." Said Red. Fly laughed.

"As you said, she's a ground blow. Why treat ground blows correctly?" Fly asked, I was silent because I saw Fly's true nature now.

"You, why did you come back after the shocking game two years ago?" Red asked with a raised eyebrow that made Fly's smile fade.

"You're a freshman priest who's pure horse." Fly said so Red laughed.

"You're a cute snake priest who still knows very well." Red said so Fly and I were annoyed.

"Admiral, that one's behavior seems ugly." Authoritatively said Mrs. Steler.

"Don't worry because the one next to you is uglier." Red said with a smile. Mrs. Steler sat Fly in her chair which immediately followed. W

"Were you informed that next month will be your game?" Mr. Steler changed the subject.

"Yes." At once we said except for Red.

"I want to see how good you are at holding a weapon the next day, I will include Fly in your practice to guide you." Said Mr Steler.

"The guide to the crooked road." Red whispered.

"That's enough, let's just eat and then we'll rest." Said Mrs. Steler. We ate quietly, no other noise could be heard but the sound of our cutlery. When we finished our meal, the Admiral said goodbye to Mr and Mrs Steler that we were going home to our Building. We're going to walk down the hallway out of the Stelers building, exhausted because I haven't seen Zero yet. He has no plans to show up again.

"Did you see him?" Shadow asked me next to me as I walked. I turned to him and shook my head. He did not answer.

"I don't think he really wants to show up to me." I said. We just kept walking until we got out of the Steleres Building and no Zero showed up for me. When we arrived at the facility, the Admiral left us immediately because the Admin called him.

"I'm going to sleep." I said goodbye and walked into the Elevator. I even saw the looks of my companion before the elevator door closed. When I got to my room I immediately closed the door and went to the window to see the moonlight.

"Aren't you really going to show me Zero anymore?" I asked in the air. I bent down and took a deep breath. "I already miss your meanness." I added.

"I miss you too." I was stopped by someone speaking behind me. I turned my back but no one was there. I turned around again but I felt something touch my shoulder twice. I was swallowed up because only one person does non. I slowly turned to touch me and saw Zero carrying a rose while smiling.

"Zero ...."

I thought he would never show up to me again, I thought he would tolerate not seeing me. But here he is, in front of me smiling while holding a rose. Did I sleep? Is it just a dream?

"I thought you were going to leave me forever." I said and ran to him then hugged him. I heard him laugh as I hugged him.

"I thought you were mad at me." He said so I looked at him.

"I'm just upset because you suddenly left me, when I need a partner then you disappear." I said. He hugged me again.

"Because I thought, if I can't see you, I'll lose my feelings for you." He said as he hugged me. "I also thought it would be good for the two of us to stay away from you, you're the only one I think of every time." He says. I suddenly smiled.

"We're the same, since you confessed to me, you won't disappear from my mind." He looked at me.

"I always see you with Shadow, so it's impossible not to get me out of your mind Moon." He said, I let go of the hug and then crossed my arms.

"It's not like I'm with someone else, I'm forgetting you. It's hard to sleep at night thinking about why you suddenly say goodbye like that." I said.

"Because, I don't want to hurt you in the end so I left." He said and handed me the flower he was holding, I accepted it with a smile and put it in the vase where all the flowers he gave me were. I take care of them all so it's nice to see them now.

"Why would I be hurt?" I asked, he just shrugged and then sat on the sofa.

"I miss teasing you." He says.

"Aren't you leaving again?" I asked, he shook his head.

"I can't stand that you have someone else with you." He said so I laughed. "What's funny? It hurts for me to see you with Shadow." I laughed at him even more.

"I'm serious." He added.

"Is that why you showed up to me again because you see Shadow and me?" I ask.

"YES." He replied.

"He admitted to me that he liked me." I said.

"I know, I heard that." I wrinkled my forehead.

"How?" I will ask.

"Because we're always being followed." He said. So my forehead wrinkled even more. "Invisibility." He added so the wrinkle on my forehead disappeared.

"So what do you think? Is he okay? He's kind." I said.

"It's up to you, it's your heart. I can't teach your heart who you love." He said and took it seriously. "Just don't love me." He says.

"Why? Admit it to me, what if I want you?" I asked, he was silent. I wanted to read what he was thinking but I couldn't. something is blocking. He took a deep breath.

"We can't." He says.

"Is it because of the state of my life?" I ask. He shook his head.

"No Moon, I don't care about the state of your life, we just can't be for each other." He said.

"If so, what's the reason you're preventing me from stop loving you?" I ask.

“It’s hard to explain Moon, I can’t tell you.” He said. I took a deep breath, it looked like he really didn’t want to tell me the reason.

"In that case, will you just let me love others?" I asked, he nodded.

"I'm the only one who can love you, you shouldn't love me back Moon because I don't want to be the one to hurt you in the end." He says.

"I don't know why you're like that." I said. He smiled.

"HAHAHA as long as, no matter what happens, don't ever let yourself fall for me." He said and looked away. "Why did you just come Moon." I heard him ask.

"Why? Am I late?" I asked, he looked at me then smiled. He stood up and approached me then hugged me.

"Take a break, let's just meet at the celebration tomorrow." he said then kissed me on the forehead, something that made my heart beat faster.

Will I be able to save myself? Will I be able to not fall for Zero if he treats me like that? The trick is that I can't like him. Especially now that he is always on my mind.
