Chapter 37: Run away

She woke up with heavy eyes in unfamiliar room. A searing pain on the lower part of her abdomen is what she felt when she tried to move. White ceilings, white walls and curtains and the scent of ethanol filled her nostrils. She was in the hospital, she realized. Her body ache so much mostly her left leg. It felt like she broke all her bones in the body and she couldn't move without even wincing.

"How are you feeling?" Her eyes flew to the familiar man sitting next to her bed. Alec's worried face greeted her. She tried to move a bit only to wince in pain when she felt that searing pain again down her abdomen.

"Do not move too much. You've broke some bones on your leg and your stitches are still fresh it might open." His face is dull and worried and his eyes seemed they were lacking from hours of sleep. Seeing Alec and realizing her condition, memories of what happened suddenly flashed back to her mind. How she find the whole truth abo
