CHAPTER 83000 FEET DEEPH A R R Y London, EnglandAugust 18, 2020I found myself standing in front of a building’s entrance.The building smelled like medicine and disinfectant and as I looked around, I found a few people in white coats and white uniforms, stethoscopes hanging around their necks and the room on my right had a signage that says Emergency Room. I realized that I was in a hospital. I approached the information desk where I see a few hospital employees in uniform were on stand-by while the others were busy taking calls. I walked closer to their table and realized that I was in St. Pierre’s Hospital in London, England as I see the logo in their uniform.My eyes were then captured when I saw William and Liv entering the elevator who were talking to each other. “Oliver? CHAPTER 8.1A M E R I C AHarry and I stared at each other because this old man came out of nowhere.The old man had a light colored wooden cane in his right hand. He wore a pair of white beach trousers, white top with long sleeves and was barefoot. He had long gray hair which was passed his shoulders but unlike Harry’s, his hair was straight and magnificently silky. He was tall and had broad shoulders, his beard trimmed but were all gray like his hair and his eyes were immensely blue, like the ocean in the morning. He was smiling at us, looking happy to find us here while he had his hands clasped behind him. He didn’t look like a suspicious man but instead he had this calming and friendly smile.“Excuse me, I have never seen you around here before, sir.” Harry tells him kindly.The man smiles sweetly, “I have lived nearby that lighthouse for sixty-five years now, my boy.” He traveled his eyes to the lighthouse before looking back at us with his warm smile. “I usually don’t go wander

CHAPTER 9HEAL AND BE AWAKENEDH A R R Y May the both of you heal from your pains and be awakened soon.I still can’t read through the lines because I didn’t understand what he meant when he told us to be awakened. Be awakened from what? From the reality? From our pain? From being a prisoner of our pasts? From a dream? It could be a metaphor or a hyperbole but what? It could mean something or a thousand things but I know there’s so much more than the superficial fact of those words but what is it?I have been thinking about it all night, repeating his words inside the back of my head again and again but ended up with one conclusion. Cortèz could possibly mean that we need to be awakened and face our problems instead of escaping and dodging from it. We should take the bullet and feel the pain so that we can move forward feeling healed without looking back and regretting things.I groan as I sit on this sand by myself while I push my hair back.I haven’t slept the entire night thinking

CHAPTER 9.2“I’m scared.” She says softly.I hugged her a little tighter, careful enough to squeeze her in too tight. “Why would you be scared?
