Chapter 16: Uncomfortable Gaze

I was startled by my friend's scream and touch. “U-Uhm, sshh… Don't scream, Gee. You are really embarrassing,” I said in a low tone.

"Ahh— S-sorry, Sir," he apologized to the person next to me.

He barely nodded at Gee. Then he focused his stare at the closed elevator.

“Charmane Cordova! You witch, I don't know much. Get ready later after our work. You are deceitful,” Gee whispered to me.

"I don't know what you're saying there," I whispered as well.

“Oh, innocent?. Hmp! I'm mad at you. Don’t talk to me.” This gay was really upset and even made fun of me.

I would have answered but the elevator opened. So, I needed to cut our conversation. I glanced at Gee. “Talk to you later…” I whispered, then I followed Mr. Hernandez.

He immediately got inside his car without staring in my direction. I hesitated to get in his car. So I stopped and didn’t know
