Verania's Point of View"Okay, sir, to our destination!" I said, sounding like a computer program speaking."Tsk, what is that for?" he asked before I pushed his wheelchair faster than before."Oh, nothing, I just felt like speaking that way," I said, and we fell silent.We arrived back in our hotel room on the fourth floor, and that's where we resumed our conversation."I'll go to the bathroom," he informed me, and I gave him permission as I sat down on the sofa. There's a small living room area in the hotel room, beside the bed, complete with a television. I thought about turning it on but decided against it.

Verania's Point of ViewAfter Mama's initial reaction, despite Ares being ready to sleep, he returned to his wheelchair and went to the mini-living room to talk to Mama, with me in tow. My presence is necessary in this conversation as well.As I discreetly stole glances at Ares, I noticed that he seemed somewhat tense. Verania's Point of ViewI immediately walked back to the bathroom to take a shower. After I finished bathing, I picked out my clothes.Only a few outfits were left here. One dress and three sets of clothing, which are shorts and a t-shirt. Since I don't really want to wear a dress, especially when I'm busy with outdoor activities, I didn't have a choice but to choose the cream-colored shorts and t-shirt, along with denim shorts. Not too short, but not too long either, just the right length. But I felt a bit tall in these shorts, so I sighed. It's been a while since I've worn something like this outside.Once I was completely ready, Ares and I headed to the restaurant for breakfast. Verania's Point of ViewYesterday was a delightful day for us at the resort. We explored a lot and, of course, it was tiring. In the afternoon, Ares and I decided to head back to his mansion since he mentioned having a check-up.I woke up early from my bed because today is the day of Ares' appointment at the hospital for a check-up on his legs.As usual, I wore a simple t-shirt and track pants, paired with rubber shoes after I had tidied myself up. I headed straight to Ares' room to pick him up.Upon opening the door, I found Ares struggling to stand up. I couldn't help but smile as I noticed the significant improvement. Verania's Point of View"Are your questions done?" Alder asked in a gentle voice.I turned my eyes back to him, and I almost melted as our gazes met. His eyes were on fire. I couldn't tell if he was annoyed, angry, or what. I just couldn't understand. I was lost for a moment, then I heard the door swing open.I was the first to look away to see if it was Ares who came out. My suspicion was correct because when I shifted my gaze to him, our eyes immediately locked. His eyes were innocent, but after seeing who I was with, they turned cold. I couldn't understand, but ever since he and Alder first met on the day we came here together, I could feel a different tension between them.I don't know what it is, but because I'm curious, I want to know what it is."Verania, let's leave.
