She was Cedric’s girlfriend while they were still students in university, and she was the woman he genuinely loved.

Cedric had always been perceptive. Sophie was sitting in a conspicuous position, so he saw her as soon as he entered the door. His unruly gaze swept across Austin’s face, causing him to scowl a little before snapping back to his previous state.
