“Did you just remind me that you slapped me and wanted a divorce?”

I took a moment to realize what I had done. Tristan’s face changed as his words registered with me. But surprisingly, his eyes no longer bore any hint of anger. Instead, expression softened, and now he looked at me with furrowed brows.

My heart pounded in my chest as I instinctively took a step back away from Tristan. In the heat of the moment, what I truly desired to say came out suddenly. But unfortunately, I forgot that the wolf I insulted in front of everybody was now the Alpa of Wolfsilver Pack.
