Chapter 13
She stood in front of the long sized mirror and glanced at her reflection for the hundredth time in the last forty five minutes. She felt nervous and jumpy since this was her first date, and not to mention with the heart throbbing Ashton.
She straightened up her simple red printed dress, which reached below her knees, slightly flowy at the bottom. She decided to wear a grey jacket along with her black pumps.
She felt like she was torn between anxiety, dread and excitement all at once, as she waited for Ashton. When she heard the sound of a car honking, instantly her hands became sweaty and her heart rate increased a hundred times. She felt that fluttery stomach feeling which she always had when she saw Ashton.
She peeped through the window to confirm if it was Ashton and when she saw him leaning on a brand new black car, her lips curved into a full smile.
