Her parents came into the room after a while, to inquire about his health.
“He will be discharged in an hour. The doctors just want to make sure there are no internal injuries.”
“How is the boy on the bike?” Asfand asked about the person he got into the accident with.
“He is fine, you turned away your car before you could hit him. He just fell onto the road. You’re the one who’s hurt.” Her father informed him.

The doctor checked on Asfand one last time and then he was allowed to leave. Aamiya took care of him all the time. 4 days later, he was feeling a lot better, but Aamiya refused to let him go to the office.
“No. The doctor said a week, and Dad is handling everything perfectly. Don’t you worry.” She said. Then pouted teasingly, “OR is it that you’re bored of me?” She asked.
Asfand pulled her to him, “Can that ever happen?” He asked and kissed her nose, while she let out a sweet giggle. They spent their days watching movies, Asfand mostly watched her studying and spending time with their parents.
Her mother was at peace, seeing them happy together. She went on scolding Aamiya after telling the cook to make something.
“You should learn to cook, Aamiya. I need to be more strict and demanding. Don’t forget, I’m your mother-in-law as well now.” She said playfully, making Asfand smile.
“Really, Mom? You want Asfand calling the doctor for every scratch he sees on me?” Aamiya replied, thinking back to when she tried making an omelette and cut herself a little. Asfand was all over her, warning her never to touch a knife again.
That night, Asfand was on to her, giving gentle kisses and soft bites to her neck. “My baby is in a playful mood today.” He spoke teasingly.
Aamiya pushed him onto his back and straddled him, “Yes!” She grinned widely. “But, I haven’t teased you yet.” She complained, pouting and started kissing his neck. He wasn’t wearing a shirt, and Aamiya rubbed her hands on his shoulders. Aamiya licked his collar bone, leaving small bites.
“Baby?” Asfand panted, making her look into his eyes.
“I love you, Asfi. I accept you as my husband. You don’t need to stop yourself anymore.” She spoke shyly, a sweet blush covering her face. Asfand pulled her down to him, holding her tightly.
The night went on with them expressing their love and their want for each other.
The next day, her mother saw the change in Aamiya. When they were alone, she decided to talk to her daughter.
“So, no more complaints about being forced to marry him?” She asked playfully. When Aamiya started blushing, she pulled her into a hug. “We forced you because we knew you were being foolish. Everyone could see the love you had for him, except you.” She went on teasingly, “By the way, I do want to be a grandmother soon, so work on it.”
“Mom..!” Aamiya whined, blushing red, making her mother laugh.
Asfand went back to the office a week later. Both of them were busy in their respective duties, but never failed to find time for each other.
One night, Aamiya was laying against him with his arms wrapped around her. She remembered something and decided to ask him.
“Asfi?”
He hummed.
“You said that you would leave me if I couldn’t accept you as my husband. Would you have really left me?” She felt his hand that was stroking her hair stop for a moment, but then resumed.
“Yes.” He said, making Aamiya recoil in hurt. “But it would’ve ended me. Living without you has never been and will never be an option for me.” He explained, placing a kiss on her head. Hearing his words, Aamiya melted as she understood the depth of his love.
A few months later,Asfand was on a call, when Aamiya went to him in the living room. She waited for a moment and pouted when she realized his call would take longer to finish. Still pouting, she started to go away when Asfand caught her hand and pulled her into his lap. Showing no resistance, she sighed and buried her head in his shoulder. Asfand continued his conversation and kept stroking her arm. When finished, he kissed her forehead and asked. “What happened to my doll?”He had a vague idea as to what was going on, she was getting tired a lot lately and had missed her menstrual cycle for about 2 months. She hadn’t noticed but he did.“I’m just feeling down.” She said with a pout.“Is that so? Why don’t we go for a long drive?” He asked lovingly, making her smile. He took her to the doctor first. “Why are we here?” She asked in confusion.“Because we need confirmation.” He said with a smile and took her inside. It was thus co
“Why are you doing all this?” Asfand kept talking, until he was sure that on one was left in the room.“The Government should listen to us.” Was all they said before raising their gun at him. Asfand smiled, knowing very well what was about to happen. He knew there was nothing to stop it, so he just accepted it.He was shot in the shoulder, in his legs, ribs and close to his heart. The last thing he saw before his vision went dark was Aamiya.A few minutes later, the Army started attacking the terrorists. They were taken down and the injured victims were taken to the hospital. An officer saw that Asfand was still barely breathing, and rushed him to the hospital. But knew that there was no chance of his return. When the hospital called Aamiya, she fell unconscious. Her mother called the ambulance for her. Hell had broken down on the family. Asfand was in the hospital and Aamiya refused to come around. Aamiya was taken into the ambulance where her nose started b

The party was arranged by the Sheraazi family, in their mansion. A great deal of guest was invited, the security being really strict with guards circling the perimeters. Zarmeenay was a little startled seeing all of it. She fidgeted and asked her grandfather, “Pa, why is there so much security?”“Security is important for them. Don’t you worry, Aamir Sheraazi is a good friend. He has been handling our business since we left.” Her grandfather spoke as they left the car. There were a lot of people at the party and it made Zarmeenay uncomfortable. She told her grandparents she needed to use the restroom, when really she wanted to get away from all the prying eyes. She asked a passing waiter for directions and followed what he told her. The mansion was very beautiful, and very big indeed. So big, she couldn’t help but get lost. When she saw no way of finding her way, she decided to ask for help. She suddenly saw a guy in the corridor, talking on the phone.“Hey!” She c
Hazik looked around and saw his angel enter the hall. She looked calmer and more put together than before. She seemed to be searching for something, and then appeared to have found it. Hazik wanted nothing else than to take her to his room and keep her there, away from all eyes. It was as if her presence lightened up his surroundings. She started to walk towards them.Mr. Jahangir smiled at her and introduced her as Zarmeenay. He was a bit shocked when he heard him. His heart pained for her knowing she lost her parents at such a young age. It was new for him to feel something so deep for someone.“You have grown up into a beautiful girl.” His mother pulled Zarmeenay into a hug. Zarmeenay was uncomfortable by the sudden affection from a stranger, but didn’t say anything.“What are you doing these days?” Rikza asked her.“I’ve just finished high school, I’m planning to apply for a BBA now.” She replied softly. She liked Rikza, she looked like a sweet lady.
Mr. and Mrs. Jahangir welcomed the Sheraazi family, they were shocked to see Hazik with them. After settling down, Aamir Sheraazi went straight to the point. “We have come to ask for Zarmeenay’s hand in marriage for Hazik.”Mr. and Mrs. Jahangir were shocked hearing him. After he got out of the initial shock, he spoke. “I don’t think it will be possible..”“Why?” Haziq asked, in an emotionless voice. He was hiding his anger, but Aamir Sheraazi was able to see right through him.“What he means to ask is, what’s the problem? If it is her age, we understand and are willing to wait for a few years. We just want to make it official for now.” Aamir said.“She doesn’t know anything about your family, she is innocent. We don’t think she will be able to understand this life.” Mrs. Jahangir hesitantly said.“She is like our own daughter, we will always protect her. And we have decided that she will be Hazik’s wife. It will do y
When Zarmeenay got back home, she went straight to her room. She was thinking about what Razia had said.“How can Pa choose such a man for me?” She thought to herself, sadly. During dinner, when her grandmother asked her about her decision, she looked her Pa in the eyes and asked something that was bothering her.“You want me to marry the Devil? The mafia head?”Mr. and Mrs. Jahangir were shocked to hear something like this from her. “Zarmeenay, this world isn’t black and white. It is grey all around. He is not only bad, there is good in him. We want you to marry him, because we know he can keep you happy and safe.”Tears began to fall from her eyes. “Pa. You know me. Do you think I will be happy with such a man?” She didn’t wait for a reply and left for her room.Mr. Jahangir sighed. He didn’t know what to do next.On the other hand, Hazik remained restless all day, but he didn’t show it. At night, his patience
Zarmeenay wasn’t able to sleep for the remainder of the night. By morning, she decided to stay strong and not buckle under him.“He can’t do anything.” She repeated to herself again and again, even though she knew she was lying to herself. She left for her university after breakfast. With every passing minute, her panic increased. She also noticed a car following her all day, the men were dressed in all black as they were the Sheraazi guards. At night, she locked her windows and her door before going to sleep. She was disturbed throughout the night, anticipating something bad to happen. The next day was the same with the car following her, the worry she had had started to take its toll on her.It was the third night after his visit at night. The constant watch on her made it difficult for her to go out.She was in the restroom; she came out only to see Hazik sitting on her bed and the window wide open.“What did I
