She woke up with her face buried deep into his chest, her left arm slung around his hips. He lay dead asleep beneath her while she savoured the occasional rise and fall of his chest beneath her head. Hey,How have we enjoyed the book so far?I'm sure by now we've been able to pick up on how much of a complex character June is. We know not what she'll do next; she's unpredictable. And we know not why she does the things she does.I do hope though, as we read on, all our questions will be answered and we'll get to understand June better.Please know, every character in this book is unique in his/her own way and serve a special purpose in the book. This story won't exist without them. And I try my best to make them practical and convey their thoughts and emotions to the best of my ability. And Jason? How do we all feel about our Alpha.Personally, I also consider Jason Harold to be complex in his own way. His thoughts and feelings make up his total being. He may be less diverse than June but trust me, he's just as intriguing. We'll get to know him better as we read on.Also I replaced the dagger with a katana instead, because I did my research and figured a katana would he be a mor

He strolled out of the den behind his father while the elders made their exit. Loosening the red tie he had on, another image of her flashed in his head. Now, I wouldn't say he didn't care about whatever it was that was going on right now with Gorah and Jason, but he cared more, a whole lot more about how much of a coward he is, like honestly, who runs away from their mate? She hurried to get it with her hair dripping water and shrivelled fingertips."Good morning Luna," the bubbly brunette smiled and June nodded. "A letter just came in for you." She held the cream coloured envelope for June to grab.Skeptically, june reached for it and subsequently perused it. "Thank you." She responded, holding on the steel handle of the door.The servant nodded with a smile before taking off. June closed the door, leaned against it and read the sender's address on the envelope. 'His eyes had blood flowing endlessly from it. Wrists locked in silver cuffs. He was stark naked, staring down at her from his place on the stone bed. His entire neck was covered in blood, one couldn't tell if his head was still attached to it. His lips curled into a sadistic smirk as he watched her hand trembling with a sword in it. The blade was sharp, long and silver, a red gooey liquid dripped from it unto the dirt. The silver blade still managed to shine in the darkness."Is it heavy?" He drawled, referring to the sword in June's custody. June's face twisted with absolute horror. He spoke. How can he speak? He is supposed to be dead. She watched him die. "You...you are alive?" She stuttered, heart beating wildly inside her ribcage. She was surrounded by darkness. His cackle sounded loud, it went forth and set the trees into vibration. She became even more scared. What was going on?"You killed me." He then whispered causing her to shiver and shut her eyes. "No, no I didn't."
