CHAPTER 23: His Touch

CLAIRE’s P.O.V.

        I still couldn’t believe the fact that Elijah and Darren made me believed about that accident prank. But even so, I feel relieved seeing Darren standing at the hospital’s rooftop.

“What are you thinking?” he asked, cutting the steaks for me.

“Nothing... I just couldn’t believe that I bought that accident prank of yours.”

        He chuckled, raising the fork in front of my face.

“Try this.” He smiled at me.

         I did as he said, and he’s right. The food taste so good and the meat melts in my mouth because of tenderness.

“So?”

“It’s good.” 

         He played with my hair while staring intensely at me. I couldn’t help but to blush because of his actions.
