CHAPTER 14 - Start of Something dark

"YESTERDAY, you hit me really hard and you have this look on your face, you look unhinged like a beast about to strangle me to death. Y..you frightened me!"

She clenches her fists and glances away from him.

He opened his mouth and tried to speak but nothing came out. He stares at her face and her cheek starts to bruise and notices her hands clenched.

"She looks like a cat left outside in the rain, she’s upset and terrified." He thought to himself.

"I feel uncertain, my face stings, but I don’t understand my feelings..." She says while pacing the room, her arms crossed.

"It won’t happen again. I promise," he says.

"You don’t understand!" She roared.

"Tell me what you want and we’ll do it." He says thinking that she’s about to say goodbye to him.

He was dumbfounded and thought he had misheard.
