Chapter 16

Nick had called the attorney that helped him get David’s will out of probate. He had explained the situation with the website and stressed that discretion was absolutely crucial. He had been understanding and assured Nick that he would take care of it.

It was 9 p.m. Nick stood outside of Joe’s Diner. He was going to let it go, but Bonnie could have answers to questions that wouldn’t go away.

He walked in. An old couple was sitting in a booth. Other than them, there was no one in there. Nick walked up to the counter.

Bonnie had a big smile when she came out of the kitchen. “Hey, Dalton, what can I get you?”

He slowly looked up at her. “Information.”

“About what?” she chirped.

Nick leaned in close. “PlanetVoyeur.com”

Her face went pale. “After all this time . . . you’re asking me about it, now?”

“I just found out today,” Nick whispered.

“How?” she whispered.

He took a deep breath. “The videos are still on the website.”

Her eyes went back in her head.

Nick thought she was going to faint.
