My mouth parted in surprise immediately Rory was done with his story. He looked away embarrassedly.

"You asked for my story." He shrugged, with a small smile.

"Of course, I did. What about Lazarus?" I asked, determined to know as much as I could about the three hot guys I had as roommates.

"Lazarus? Well..." He paused and chuckled.

"You don't want to tell me about him?" I frowned.

"No, that's not it. If I told you I don't know about his story, would you believe me?" Rory asked, with a helpless look on his face.

"Not even a little bit." I replied, almost immediately. How the hell was I to believe that?

"Is it that unbelievable?" He laughed this time, creating a ripple in my heart. His laughter was as smooth as he was. Almost melodic even.

"Well, I really don't know." He said, after laughing.
