Chapter 16 Don't Touch Her Things

Hu Hui was feeling more energetic.

After Song Shuang's night shift ended, she forced Song Shuang to take Gu Baisheng back home.

When she married Song Shuang, she was still quite young. She didn't even graduate from university. There was no other way because she was three-month pregnant before the wedding.

Luckily Song Shuang was willing to take her, so she married Song Shuang.

Her university was in their city. Song Shuang wanted to purchase a flat near the university to make it more convenient for her to commute as she was pregnant.

Yet she thought she was pregnant before marriage, and it wasn't Song Shuang's kid.

She was afraid that others would laugh at her and also Song Shuang because he was such a proud man, yet he was willing to raise another man's child, so she picked a place far from the university.

She even bought a flat on high floors.

Floor twenty-two.

She followed Song Shuang into the elevator and pressed 22 subconsciously with her fingers.

Song Shuang squinted his cold slanted eyes. His look was full of disgust as always, "Are you a stalker? How do you know which floor I live on?"

Gu Baisheng just remembered that she was Bai Shengsheng.

Bai Shengsheng shouldn't know which neighborhood Song Shuang lived in, or which floor was his flat.

She looked up at Song Shuang nervously.

Song Shuang stood by her with a black cashmere coat hanging on his right forearm.

The black shirt on him made his look even darker.

Gu Baisheng bit her lips and kept silent.

When the elevator stopped at floor 22, she paid attention and followed Song Shuang out of the elevator.

This was a high-end residential building. The elevator led to two flats.

There were in total 30 floors. They lived on the east side on floor 22.

Song Shuang entered the password and opened the door.

Gu Baisheng followed him, staying silent and pretending she was just air.

After they went into the room, she wanted to take her coat off to change her clothes because it was soaked in the rain before and wasn't dried, and it was still wet.

After she changed into slippers, she wanted to walk into the second bedroom.

Yet Song Shuang called her annoyedly, "Who told you that you can touch her things?"

Gu Baisheng moved the corner of her mouth. She looked down and finally realized the problem was the slippers she was wearing.

Yes, they were Gu Baisheng's blue rabbit bun slippers.

She could understand the difference between Song Shuang's attitude towards Gu Baisheng and Bai Shengsheng.

She hesitated and sighed helplessly. She took off the shoes and stood on the ground with bare feet.

Luckily the floor was warm. Her feet weren't cold.

"Don't touch any of my wife's things."

Song Shuang threw his coat on the sofa. Then he walked to her and bent down to pick up that rabbit slippers of Gu Baisheng.

"Then her bed..." If she followed what he asked, then she really couldn't touch anything.

She couldn't even touch the bed she should be sleeping in.

"After we get the certificate tomorrow, you will move to Jinshayuan."

Song Shuang's voice was cold.

Gu Baisheng was not surprised by his arrangement. Jinshayuan was an estate Song Shuang purchased last year. It was a ready house. He furnished it right after he bought it.

It was close to Second Hospital. She thought Song Shuang prepared it so that he could stay there when he needed to work late.

After all, it was a bit far from Second Hospital here.

Yet, Song Shuang only stayed in Jinshayuan at noon sometimes and never stayed overnight there.

They were married for seven years, and in those seven years, Song Shuang came home every day.

Even though they no longer stayed in one room, yet she could hear the sound of Song Shuang opening the door and coming home every night before sleep.

She didn't understand why he was so persistent.

Their relationship was heading towards a dead end.

Even if she hadn't died in the earthquake, they would have divorced soon.

Because Song Shuang's persistence was also getting drowned by all the pressure.
