Laughing stock

Saanvi was relieved by watching Austin leave her place, Saanvi saw her desk mate and said immediately "Hi I am Saanvi, and you?"

"I am Maggie" Saanvi was too excited so she was loud a little bit which made Maggie startled.

Saanvi asked, "Is this your first day?"

Maggie said "The second day"

Saanvi pinched and said "Me too"

Maggie was surprised by Saanvi's attitude. Maggie was very calm, she talks less, and she is opposite to Saanvi. Maggie thought Saanvi was quite different from her, Saanvi is the type of person who talks about what has in her brain and Maggie thought Saanvi is very nice too.

Nishi saw Saanvi was happily chatting with Maggie so, she went to Saanvi's desk. The sudden sound was engrossed all over the place which made all members turn around and watch towards Saanvi. Saanvi was startled by the sound because the sound came too close to her, Saanvi doesn't know what happened, so she saw the person who is beside her.

Nishi said with an arrogant face "Why you came here? To chat?"

Saanvi stood and asked by watching Nishi's arrogant face "Who are you to question me?" Saanvi doesn't know who is she?  Although it's Saanvi's second day she doesn't know about anyone.

Nishi's face turned red with anger and said "How dare you, to talk like that with your mentor?"

God, I am doomed. She seems to be an unreasonable person, definitely, she will do something because of arrogance but this is not my fault. It's her who is arrogant.

Saanvi said "I am sorry; I don't know you are my mentor since it is my second day"

Nishi said by showing the tons of files "This are the files you have to finish them by today itself"

Saanvi said by widening her eyes "Do you mean all these files?" there are more than twenty files.

Nishi said "Will see, how you can complete all these files" Nishi left by smirking,

Maggie asked "What happened? Did you quarrel with her before?"

Saanvi said, "No, I don't know who is she and why is she talking like that?" Saanvi was confused and Saanvi didn't dare to look at those files.

Maggie said to Saanvi who doesn't dare to work "Make it fast otherwise she may complain about you, don't keep your job at risk"

Maggie was right if Saanvi didn't complete her work, Nishi may do something to Saanvi which may take her job away.

Saanvi said "You are right" Saanvi needs this job so she started working.

Saanvi doesn't understand a few points so she asked Nishi. Nishi said, "Don't you even know about this?" Nishi not only insulted Saanvi but also she said to everyone "Guys see this, she doesn't know this small thing I don't know how she got an intern in our company"

All the members on the floor started laughing at Saanvi. The floor is very noisy so the manager came to see what's happening. The manager was stunned by watching the scene and shouted by watching Saanvi was corned "All of you go to your places, the company is not paying for you guys to do all these things"

This is not the first time that I am insulting others, why he is behaving differently today? Is she really someone that I can't offend? Or he was just blabbering to control me?

What the heck is this Nishi's problem? I never offended her right? Where did I do wrong? I am just new here so I will definitely have some doubts, she can't even understand that. How did she become a mentor? And I became a laughing stock on my first day, ridiculous. How I am going to survive in the future?
