GABRIELLA’S POVThe elevator stopped, and Allistori kept on walking inside of our room without giving me any glance. What the hell is his problem? I stalked behind him and focused on getting out of my heels and accessories while he looked so problematic sitting near the window and lighting himself a cigarette. He stood upright when he saw me walking in his direction. I don’t think I ever saw him this agitated before. I’ve been with him for seven years and Allistori never showed me this side of him. I always get his understanding and now, I’m at loss. “ You’re still mad?” Allistori flicked his cigarette and only gave me a quick side glance. I gulped. “ You want to talk about it?” Dark eyes locked into mine, and the full darkness of his aura came into view. I bit my tender lips and decided to just shut up. Allistori can’t change my mind but I value his perspective about these kinds of things. His expertise was my guiding light. Seven years and he helped me cope up about everything.

Gabriella It could be the way he was grabbing me. When Giovanni crashed his lips into mine, it took me seconds until I realized what he was doing. Giovanni She was an idiot. Her little voice telling me to divorce her is nothing but a nuisance. Giovanni’s POV What the fuck did just happen? I tried to run after her but a soft hand reached from mine before I could make it through the door. Alana shook her head and muttered, “Don’t go,” making me rooted in place. “ I–I…just..” I looked where Gabriella went and sighed before hugging Alana. GABRIELLA’S POV If I had a doubt Dela Vin’s father was evil, it’s all now evaporated into the air. I took a deep breath, my hands shaking while looking at the pictures of our dead men from our last mission. Gabriella’s POV There were worse things than realizing you’ve woken up in the middle of an unfamiliar bed. It’s waking up wrapped in the arms of the man who hurt you but knowing you’ll let him hurt you all over again just because your heart still beats for him.
