Not me calling Sathe 'Set' in this chapter! Dear lord
“So, who did you like most?”Dinner was now over and the alphas had left the pack land, leaving Verya with just her father. “I didn’t like any of them.” Jonathon eyes squinted at her, that giddy smile across his face quickly faltering. “What do you mean?” “I don’t like them, I mean exactly what I said. Invite another set, I’ll surely choose from them.” “So you requested that I keep my word and you’re not keeping yours? If that’s the case Verya, regardless of how you feel about Seth or Sat becoming a rogue, I won’t give him a place to stay, I won’t even set him free. I’ll kill him! That’d solve the problem.” “You can’t kill him father…I won’t let you! I’ll choose from the next batch, I promise this time!” “There’s no next batch, these are the last two that I’m inviting over. It’s starting to look bad on me, word keep spreading about my failed attempts at mating you off to a strong alpha. I’m tired of hearing it.” He sighed, relaxing in his seat as if his blood pressure was high. “S
Last night Verya left the forest as late as midnight. As much as she wanted to, she didn’t go see Sathe, instead, she had asked an omega to deliver him dinner when she remembered she had neglected to bring him food.He must’ve been hungry, he must’ve been looking forward to seeing her too, but she didn’t go, her pride hadn’t let her. She had promised she’d go back with the keys, how could she visit him without it?She had already felt guilty about him being locked up and the fact that she was incapable of letting him out even after trying so many times was not helping.Sighing, she sat up in bed, looking towards the window. The curtains were as she left them last night. They were drawn aside, the bright sun outside more than just visible. Before going to bed, she had been sitting by her window, looking down at the darkness that floated over the land. What if that darkness had been flowing within her? What if she was as ruthless as her mother was said to be?She had thought about that
Verya rushed down the dungeon, quickly stepping on the cracked concrete and passing the unpainted walls until she stood in front of Sathe's cell. He was seated by the bars, staring up at her with those glistening obsidian eyes. “Verya…?” Verya smiled at him, the keys jingling in her hand. “Told you I’d get you out soon.” “You didn’t come last night.” “Yeah, I know.” She shoved the key into the lock on his cell door, twisting it until it came undone. “I’m sorry about that.” Sathe stood to his feet, taking up the pink blanket and stepping through the door as soon as she opened it. She was smiling at him and for the first time he wasn’t smiling back. “Verya your scen…” He shook his head. “Never mind.” “Father gave you somewhere to stay, it’s rather deep in the forest, but I think it suits you best.” She stretched her hand out to him and Sathe hesitated before putting his hand into hers. His eyes were glued to the floor, lips pursed in thought as she led him outside. He was glad he w
A cottage came into view soon, a small house that sat by itself amongst the tall trees. It was painted in white, made solely by wood, and there were vines growing up its walls. It must’ve been here for a while and yet it was still so pretty. He could hear water running, but before he could even look for the source, he was dragged up to the wooden door of the house. Verya let go of his hand to unlock the door with one of the two keys she had.She pushed it open, stepping inside before hauling him behind her. “Verya…I-I’m sorry.”The door was slammed shut, frightening him and his back was shoved against it. “Do I look like a f*cking joke to you?!”Sathe shook his head, his fear rising at the way she was looking at him. The inside of the house was mostly dark since there wasn’t much light coming in, the windows were probably locked, the doors too and the lights were off, but even in the darkness, he could see the anger that shone in her hazel eyes.“You didn’t give me a chance to explain
Verya rushed back to the cottage after gathering herself some clothes, it wasn’t much, but having Sathe in the cold for much longer would be torture. She had packed some soap, her toothbrush along with an unused one that was in her cupboard. She had also taken a couple of sheets from her closet, two blankets for the cold night, and some cleaning utensils from her bathroom. And now she stood by the lake, her eyes wandering across it for Sathe. He wasn’t there, but she knew he wasn’t gone either, his scent was still strong here. Verya sighed, heading into the house where she found him seated on the dusty sofa. His eyes drifted up to stare at her; cold, not an ounce of warmth. There was no smile on his lips, his face was the blankest she’d ever seen it. Verya looked away from him and towards the clear, white walls, feeling utterly ashamed of herself. She didn’t have to scare him like that, he did nothing wrong. “Sathe…I’m sorry.” “It’s okay…” “Everything is always okay with you.” Sh
“V-Verya…?” “What?”“I-I Verya yo~” Verya grabbed his hands, resting them on her hips. “Quit fidgeting and put them here.” Sathe eyes glided down away from hers, the intensity in her eyes was so hard to look on. He wanted more too, but what if she really won’t be satisfied with him as his brother said? He was inexperienced, submissive…surely no woman would want somebody like that… He was scared…scared that after this she’d really want nothing to do with him…he wanted to do it, he really wanted to, but… Sathe’s hands dropped from her hips and his head fell against her bosom. “S-Stop…” “Stop? Why…?” “I-I’m not ready yet.”“And just when will you be ready? I thought you wanted me Sathe.” “No, I do…I do want you, but…” “But what?” “What if after this you won’t like me anymore? What if this ends bad…I’m not ready for that yet. I’ve never done anything like this before…I’m not ready…” Verya shifted on his lap, her hands gripping onto his shoulders. “You’re not ready? Why are you s
Sathe gave her a baffled look. “Prepare…p-prepare you?” “Then should I do it myself?” Verya shoved his hand aside, replacing it with hers. “Since you can’t do it, I wil~” Sathe shook his head, swallowing nervously. “No, I-I want to do it.” Verya smirked down at him, she knew what she was doing to him, her taunts always worked. “Good boy.” Sathe’s fingers trembled as he curiously ran them between her folds. She really wanted him, didn’t she? One touch and his fingers were so wet. His eyes glided up to shyly stare at her. “Are…are yo-you ready?” Verya nodded. “Yeah…I’m ready.” At her words, Sathe eyes drifted back down to the beauty between her legs, his index finger slowly pressing its way inside. He didn’t know what he was doing, he felt stupid…what if he really messed this up? What if h~? Sathe shook his head. She said it was fine, she said whatever happened now would not affect their relationship in a bad way. No matter how bad at this he was she’d still want him, but that did
Sathe’s eyes grew wide. “F-First time…? I thought-I thought you alre~”“You thought I’ve done this before? I might not look it, but I’m just as inexperienced as you Sathe…I’m nervous too, but if somebody doesn’t take the lead, who will?” She lifted her hips; slowly. “It so happens that that person is me. You might want to ask why, and I can tell you the answer to that too.” She leaned towards his ears gobbling up his c*ck inch by inch as she slid back down. “Because I’m the alpha here…your alpha to be more precise.”Sathe moaned, feeling as her warm tongue licked his ear. Her words were punishing him again, telling him she was his would only make things harder for him. The movements of her hips were maddening enough, why was she doing this now?She knew her voice affected him, didn’t she? And using it to say those sinful yet appealing words…how could she? She was provoking him in the evilest way possible; stirring him up deliberately and he was falling headfirst for it.His hands wer
