Chapter 49

Christian's POV

"Maria! I need you to push! Harder." The doctor said for like millionth time and the scowl on Isabella's face deepened as she dug her nails on my arms, trying her best to push hard.

I could clearly see the pain she was going through for the whole time since we have arrived here.

We've been here for almost eight hours and Izzy reacted badly for the drugs and contractions and it's so fucking heart-rending to watch her suffer alone.

And it's been three hours since Izzy started the process of giving birth but we couldn't see any progress eventhough Izzy was pushing long and long, hoping the baby would come out in no time.

"You're doing great Izzy.. Keep going.." I cooed, wiping the sweat off of her forehead and she turned to me with furrowed brows.

"I can't!" Isabella groaned and she looked like she was going to faint anytime soon. My hands trembled and by seeing her at this condition, I seemed like I was going to faint too.
