I woke up very early so I could see Mr Callum, but he is already gone. Mom said he had something very important, and he had to leave very early.

I pick up the apple from the basket on the kitchen table, munching on it instead of giving her a reply. About last night, I don't want to think about it.. especially when mom is in front of me and the words he said last night replay in my head.

I push the thought away while I think of something less worrisome.

I take a full look at mom and God... her stomach is getting bigger and more beautiful... The way it curves is another glamour on its own. She is getting the kitchen set up when she catches me staring at her for a long while.
