Emily tried to compose herself and smiled back at the man. "Oh, no thank you. I was just admiring the jewelry in the window."

The man nodded and walked to the back of the store, giving Emily a chance to quickly grab the package and slip it into her bag. Just as she was about to leave, the man turned around and caught her eye. Emily's heart skipped a beat, but the man didn't say anything and continued on his way.

Emily let out a sigh of relief as she left the store and headed back toward the warehouse. She couldn't help but feel like she was being watched, and the feeling only intensified as she made her way through the deserted streets.

As she approached the warehouse, she saw the man waiting outside for her. "Did you get it?" he asked, his eyes scanning her bag.

Emily nodded, holding out the package. "Here it is," she said, trying to keep her voice steady.

The man took the package and handed her an envelope. "Your payment," he said, before turning to leave.
