The harsh sound of thudding on the floor of her room made Lily still.

She wonders if she left the window open, her fear becomes true hearing a light shuffling noise from inside the room.Instinctively, grabbing the knife in her hands, she walked towards her room.

No, not a good idea, she shakes her head in thought as sweat glistened down her face.

What if the stalker is here to act on his threats? She thought and ran towards the front door but before she, could grab it, her body is lifted off the air in the tight grip of his arms, and with all the force she punched him with her elbow and he groaned dropping her on the floor.

She turned around so fast that for a second, everything blurred and the noise of his laugh made her frown. It is familiar, “Adrian,” she murmurs with his face becoming clear in her vision.

A breath of relief leaves her lips before anger took over “What is wrong with you? Do you know how scared I was?” she, hits him on his chest and he laughs as if this is all a jo
