Disappointed, I got back to the dinning room, my cravings gone. As I stayed there, I contemplated whether I had committed a horrendous error marrying Ethan.Marrying Ethan had been a frantic move to get my family out of poverty and debts, yet the expense was turning out to be horrendously clear. The corridor outside Ethan's room sounded chilly and unwelcoming. My solicitude continued to mount, and I kept forging on the door, hoping he'd answer it and tell me everything was okay.
