Chapter 11. All in One Day

“Have you seen Langdon?” Cade asked the two kids who were having a riot in his living room.

“Uncle went to the bathroom,” Mike said, running his miniature car across the table.

Cade frowned and went to his room. He needed to talk to Langdon about something, but he would wait first.

But when Cade had finished showering and changed, he didn’t find his assistant in the living room. Had Langdon gone home without saying goodbye to him?

“Uncle’s still in the bathroom.” Now it was Mika who told him. She looked nonchalant when she said that.

Cade became suspicious. He moved back towards the bathroom located outside the bedroom.

In front of the tightly closed bathroom door, he listened for a moment. There was no sound. He knocked.

“Langdon? Are you in? Is there a problem?”

There was the sound of water splashing in there.
