Chapter 40

Unlike other days, today was a stressful one for Cassandra, so much to be done, she walked into the mansion barely a second away from having her heels in her hands. She was taught to walk and seeing the smile on her man's face as he opened his arms to welcome her she wasted no time in getting herself wrapped up by him. She was home early and so was Carlson as the day was a half day for all workers both government and private sectors.

“Hello, Mr Carlson” Rick greets with a gentle voice as he walks behind Cassandra. “Hmm” was all Carlson said, carrying the woman in his arms towards the dinner section.

“How about we take care of redecorating the mansion tomorrow.?” Cassandra asks with a smile and Carlson nods. “It's a holiday for workers so yes, anything for you.” Rick stood still as his eyes dangerously stared at the couple before him.
