Chapter 44: Desire

Eden’s POV

I was hot. Too hot. I felt a need deep inside me. A desire. What was happening? It was the drug, it had to be. “Help,” I whispered as I felt myself being lifted up. I squeezed my eyes shut and the next thing I knew I was being set down on an incredibly soft bed.

I writhed. I was too hot. I had to take off my clothes, to cool down. I stripped off my dress and kicked it to the floor. My cheeks were flushed. Sweat dripped down my cheek.

He stood over the foot of the bed, watching me take off my clothes. He turned away for a moment, to give me privacy. But then he couldn’t help himself. His eyes came back to me, to my hot, flushed, semi-naked body.

“I should go,” he said, his eyes roaming my chest. I breathed heavily.

Go? No. I needed help.

“Please. I’m so hot. Help me,” I begged him. What was wrong with me? My body felt like it was on fire. I squirmed on the bed, running my hands up and down my thighs. There was an insatiable need between my legs.
