(Kaeleigh’s POV)
I took a breath and placed my fingers against Cade’s throat and searched for a pulse, closing my eyes so I could focus all of my attention on finding that beat beneath my fingers. I was beginning to lose hope when I thought I felt something. I pushed in with my fingers and visualised pushing a small amount of energy through into Cade.
