Sebastian’s POV.

Claire went to a table and sat down. She kept looking around impatiently, and I mustered up some courage to go to the table before she got frustrated, because she wasn't looking well and it felt like she had no choice but to show up.

“Good evening,” I said, and she didn't answer, she looked at me like someone who has lost their way. “Hi,” I said, and she hissed in frustration. “I'm waiting for someone,” she said.

“Oh okay, so can I keep you company till that person arrives?” I asked, but she did not reply, so I took her silence as a ‘Yes’.

I sat down looking at her in the eyes, and she frowned, forming a line on her forehead, then I smiled. “What would you like to have?” I asked her, and she rolled her eyeballs.

“Something strong,” she said, and I nodded at her. I knew what she was up to, she wanted to clear her thoughts with alcohol.

“Okay then,” I said. I raised my hands and called the bartender ‘James’ . I ordered some beers for the two of us.
