Chapter 55

"Sir, yes, sir!" The man exclaimed. "There were three of them to be exact."

"That's good to know. Have you reported them already to the cops?" Jasper asked back.

"Not yet, sir. We're waiting for your parents' response. In the meantime, we put them in handcuffs and a secure place where they could not escape. Why? Would you like to see and talk to them?"

"Yes. And don't wait for either mum or dad to order what to do. I was the one who got attacked by those people. It's my decision that matters." Jasper set the phone back on the table and grabbed his coat.

He never asked or say anything from me after that. Instead, he left me and my wolf all alone in the room. Aside from that, he never said I should wait for him or not. Or he will come back or not.

Leaving no choice, I removed the blanket from my body and shifted back into a wolf. Then, jumped out of the window and marched to my old spot where I last shifted to get my phone and torn-out clothes.
