His eyes widened a bit, then a look of helplessness. “She acts crazy sometimes.”

“That's because you make her go crazy. Mira's a young girl but you always yell at her.”

Lucas pressed his lips into a thin line, a sign that he didn't regret his actions.

Heidi could relate with the maid because she'd once been in her shoes.
